Iridium World Data Services Using your computer and an Iridium satellite phone, you can connect to the Internet or a corporate network from virtually anywhere in the world, allowing you to browse the web, send and receive email and transfer files. You can configure your computer for two different types of data calls, depending on your needs: Dial-Up Data or Direct Internet Data. Now, Iridium Data Services can be run on a computer using the Windows XP Operating System as well as Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0 and 2000. Dial-Up Data Dial-Up Data Service provides dial-up connectivity from a PC, through your Iridium phone to another computer, a corporate network/LAN or an Internet Service Provider (ISP). This service offers a data rate of up to 2.4 Kbps. Direct Internet Data Direct Internet Data Service provides connectivity from a PC, through your Iridium phone, directly to the Internet through dedicated servers at the Iridium gateway. This service utilizes transparent compression, resulting in a data rate of up to 10 Kbps, depending on content. (Graphics and images will result in lower throughput).

The eSun™ solar model 6.5 W, is made with durable CIGS (copper indium gallium diselenide) solar cells. It provides higher efficiency than other flexible solar cell technologies and has proven to be stable. The eSun™ product line is designed for low maintenance and rugged durability. The SAE plug provides simple attachment to a load. Built in grommets allow for hanging, mounting or laying in any position. All are 12 Volt and include the following cables with a standard SAE Trailer Plug for simple connections: ? Male Cigarette Lighter Adapter (CLA) to charge vehicles via the Cig. lighter. ? The fan blade design allows the Solio to achieve maximum solar area when in use.  It can either be exposed to direct sunlight out of doors, or affixed to a window, for example on a car or boat.

Exposing Solio to sunlight charges the internal battery, which can take 8-10 hours of direct sunlight.  With Solio fully charged, an average phone will charge in approximately 1-2 hours - as efficiently as a conventional charger.
